BREAKING: Nigeria’s Headline Inflation Eases To 21.88% In July 2025

Nigeria’s headline inflation rate slowed slightly to 21.88% in July 2025, marking a modest retreat from the previous month’s figure of 22.15%, according to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

The easing in inflation reflects a marginal slowdown in price increases across key sectors, particularly in food and non-alcoholic beverages, which remain the largest contributors to the consumer price index (CPI).
