The Oyo State House of Assembly, on Thursday, approved a supplementary appropriation of N299.8 billion, increasing the state’s total 2025 budget size “from N684.1 billion to N984 billion.”

The Chairman of House Committee on Budget, Finance, and Appropriation, Sunkanmi Babalola, announced this during an interview with newsmen shortly after the plenary session in Ibadan, the state capital.

“These include allocations for the reconstruction of the Government House, payment of workers’ pensions, and provisions for a new national minimum wage.
